Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School
1 General Education Teacher (Grades 1-6)
We are seeking a talented, dynamic, and innovative General Education teacher who will
inspire a passion for building students’ academic and social growth in a respectful
environment. The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to innovation and
interdisciplinary curriculum development through the differentiation of instruction and the development of exciting and engaging programs. Candidate must also show eagerness to
embrace an interdisciplinary approach while collaborating with all stakeholders.
Duties include but not limited to:
· Provide whole group, individual and small group instruction
· Implement multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) to increase student achievement
· Attend on-going professional learning
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
NYS Childhood Ed. Teacher Certification Gr. 1-6
Immediate Supervisor: Dr. Monique Habersham, Principal
Duration: 2025-2026 School Year
Salary: Per WTA Contract
