AFTER SCHOOL EXTENDED DAY ACADEMIC SUPPORT TEACHERS
(1) Earth Science Teacher
(1) Geometry Teacher
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Deliver targeted, data-driven instruction based on each student’s academic needs
· Use Regents, quarterly exams, and IXL benchmark data to identify skill gaps and inform support
· Develop and maintain a cyclical action plan for each student (lesson plan not required)
· Incorporate research-based best practices to support diverse learning styles
· Monitor and track student progress toward academic goals
· Provide clear, specific and actionable feedback to students for improvement
· Collaborate with school staff as needed to align interventions with in-class instruction
Qualification: Appropriate NYS Teaching Certification
Immediate Supervisor: Mr. Paul Sibblies, Principal
Program Duration: November 13, 2025 to June 16, 2026
Hours: 2:00pm to 4:00pm - 3 days/week (Tuesday through Thursday)
Stipend: $65.00 per hour (Per WTA Contract)
