 All Non-Teacher coaches must have all coaching certification updated along with CPR and First Aid, register with the NYS TEACH System and submit all of their coaching paperwork to the Athletic Director before being considered for a coaching position. If this is not done, Non-Teacher applicants will not be considered for a coaching position.

All Certified Teachers interested in coaching must have an up-to-date CPR and First Aid Certification for coaching to be considered for a position. Coaching coursework is required to be complete 5 years after initial coaching start date.

Duration: 2024-2025 School Year

Stipend: $46.00 SINGLE GAME/ $70.00 DOUBLE GAMES

Duties include but are not limited toEnsure compliance with State and Federal Regulations;  Under the leadership of the Interim Superintendent of Schools, be responsible and accountable for the Special

Education Department and its functions, which include, but are not limited to CSE/CPSE, referrals,

evaluations, and related meetings.  Monitors and supervises the Director for Guidance and PPS, Director for Special Education, district social workers, Attendance Aids/Teachers, Drug and Alcohol Community

Coordinator, and School Wellness Center employees.

 Qualifications

¨ New York State School District Leader Certification

¨ Experience  chairing CSE/CPSE meetings

¨ Strong knowledge of Part 200 and Part 201 regulations

¨ Be a highly collaborative, results-oriented, adaptable, problem-solving self-starter, meet the

      social-emotional needs of families, scholars, and staff

¨ Proven track record of improving school culture and implementing social-emotional systems that improve academic achievement and attendance

DIRECTOR OF SCHOOL GUIDANCE

and

PUPIL PERSONNEL SERVICES (PPS)

 

Duties include but are not limited to:  Under the direction of the Assistant to the Superintendent of Special Education & Pupil Personnel Services, the Director of School Guidance and Pupil Personnel Services is to

ensure compliance with State and Federal Regulations; Oversee PPS Grades Pre-K through 12 including

Social-Emotional Staff; Oversee and supervise Pupil Personnel in developing, coordinating, planning and monitoring of SEL and Guidance programs; Participates in resolution, impartial hearings and the mediation process, as required; Is available for Guidance, Social Emotional and staff, presentations to parent

Associations and other community groups, as needed; Assumes responsibility for own professional growth and development, for keeping current with literature and new research findings, and for attending

appropriate professional meetings; Assist in the development of Guidance Departmental guidelines and

assume the responsibility for the implementation of these guidelines; Assist in the observation of PPS staff; Work with parents and community groups in interpreting the guidance programming; Lead the development of the Course Offering and Scholarship Booklets; Monitor, supervise and evaluate all PPS (Guidance, Social Workers, Speech Therapists, Psychologists, Nurses, Drug & Alcohol Community Coordinator, Attendance), and assist in the observation and evaluation of same; Monitor, Supervise and evaluate the effectiveness of the School Wellness Centers and related partnerships 

Qualifications

¨ New York State School Guidance Counseling or PPS Related Certification
