Special Education Teacher-Grades 7-12

Minimum Qualifications: 

NYS Teacher Certification in Students With Disabilities - Grades 7-12; Experience preferred.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Providing strong instruction to students aligned to the New York State Standards;

cooperating with building and district staff; maintaining accurate records of grades and

attendance; collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and instructional resources.

Immediate Supervisor: Mr. Noel Rios, Acting Principal

Duration: 2026-2027 School Year

QUALIFICATIONS:

¨ New York State Business Education or Business & Marketing Teacher Certification

¨ Experience preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

¨ Provide students with the skills, attitudes, and competencies to be successful in

     post-secondary study, the workforce, and as adult consumers. Prepare students for their  

     working life as well as their grown-up personal life.

¨ Teach students the knowledge and skills in accounting, communications, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, finance, management, marketing, and, professional skills necessary for all career areas to prepare students for lifelong success.

¨ Assist students in reaching their full potential as consumers, savers, investors, and working professionals by exposing them to economics, management principles, personal and

     corporate finance, and technology/computer literacy.
